  1. Age: If your roof is more than 20-25 years old, it may be time to consider replacing it.

  2. Sagging or uneven decking: If you notice that the decking in your attic is sagging or uneven, this could be a sign of water damage and a sign that your roof is nearing the end of its lifespan.

  3. Missing or damaged shingles: If you notice that shingles are missing or damaged, this could be a sign that your roof is failing and needs to be replaced.

  4. Excessive granules in the gutters: If you notice a significant amount of granules in your gutters, this could be a sign that your shingles are deteriorating and need to be replaced.

How is the roofing replacement?

A roofing replacement is a process that involves the removal of the old roofing material and the installation of new roofing material. Here's a general overview of the steps involved in a roofing replacement:

Before starting the replacement, we will remove any debris or obstacles from the roof and surrounding area. We will also cover any landscaping or outdoor furniture to protect them from debris.

We will remove the old roofing material, which can include shingles, flashing, and underlayment. This process can be done manually or with the use of a roofing tear-off machine.

After the old material is removed, We’ll inspect the decking for any signs of damage or deterioration. Any damaged decking will be repaired or replaced as necessary.

A new layer of underlayment will be installed on top of the decking to provide a barrier against water and moisture.

New flashing will be installed around any roof penetrations, such as vents, pipes, and chimneys, to prevent water from entering the home.

The new shingles will be installed on top of the underlayment, following the manufacturer’s instructions. The new shingles will be secured in place with nails or staples.

After the new roofing material is installed, our team will perform a final inspection of the work to ensure that it was done correctly and to the homeowner’s satisfaction.

Once the work is completed, any debris and materials from the site will be removed to clean up the area.

The whole process can take a couple of days to a week depending on the complexity of the job, the size of the roof, and the weather conditions.
